WeP Solutions and Ricoh Asia Pacific enter into a Distributor Agreement for the Indian Market

WeP Solutions Limited (‘WeP’), a BSE listed company and Ricoh Asia Pacific Operations Limited (“Ricoh”) have entered into a Distributor Agreement. Under this agreement, WeP has the rights to sell and service Ricoh’s product portfolio that address the digital printing market in India.

Ricoh’s portfolio complements the current product and services offering of WeP. With Ricoh products, WeP will now be able to address the entire digital printing market including office automation, industrial and commercial printing.

Ricoh’s multifunction products (MFPs) allow users to send scanned documents to shared folders on various networks. Compatible MFPs support these three methods of Scan to folder: Scan to SMB (for Windows environments) Scan to NCP (for Novell NetWare environments) Scan to FTP (for environments with mixed operating systems). ECO Night Sensor

ECO Night Sensor Ricoh’s ECO Night Sensor is an energy saving feature that works by detecting the amount of ambient light in the room. Depending on available settings in a Ricoh device, it automatically turns off the device’s main power, or shifts it to Energy Saver Mode, when the amount of light falls below a certain level. The latest version of ECO Night Sensor also turns the power on when the amount of light increases. The sensor detects the increase and fall of both natural and artificial light, significantly reducing the device’s power consumption and running cost How does it work?  The sensor is located on the operation panel, and its settings can be changed at the operation panel display.
