Donation to support the recovery from Novel coronavirus
TOKYO, February 20, 2020 – Ricoh expresses its deepest sympathy for the loss of life caused by the outbreak of Coronavirus and sends its best wishes for the speedy recovery of those affected and all those that find themselves in a difficult situation.
Ricoh group is donating RMB 7 million (approximately 116 million yen) to be used for recovery activities in China.
In order to support the recovery effort, Ricoh will donate funds to support a recovery project in Hubei Province through the RED CROSS Society of China Shanghai Branch. Additionally, Ricoh will donate Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) and duplicators to the education department as well as elementary and junior high schools in China. Ricoh will also provide free support and supplies to our production print customers in Hubei Province.
Ricoh sends its best wishes to all patients for a speedy recovery and hope that the virus infection will end quickly. We will look forward to supporting the progress of the recovery activities.

Scan to USB/SD - RICOH MFP Feature

Scan to USB/SD is a Ricoh scan function enabling users to scan documents directly to a USB memory device or an SD card. How does it work? From supported Ricoh multifunction products (MFPs) with USB/SD slots, users insert their USB/SD card, and follow the instructions on the operation panel to scan their document to the memory device.  When the user removes their USB/SD card from the MFP, they can access their scanned files immediately with their PC, laptop, or other mobile device. Which file formats are supported? Scan to USB/SD supports PDF/A, single-page TIFF, JPEG, PDF, and high compression PDFs, as well as multi page TIFF, PDF and high compression PDF file formats. Print from USB/SD is a Ricoh print function enabling users to print files directly from a USB memory device or an SD card, without needing to access a PC. How does it work? As long as the printer or multifunction product (MFP) has the USB/SD connection, users insert their USB/SD device, select the document they wish to print from the MFP’s operation panel, and print.   Checking print job settings On supported Ricoh devices with a GWNX controller, users can check that they have selected the correct file to print, and that the correct print settings have been applied at the operation panel.
