International Women’s Day Celebrations

International Women’s Day Celebrations

“A woman is a full circle.
Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform. ~ Diane Mariechild

It was not a normal day at office. It was full of surprises! I could see the effect of women-empowerment all around. A spark in eyes of every female I met. The whole environment was joyful, with special efforts made by the women for the women, to make the day special were commendable.
It all started with Lunch which was an all-women affair with yummiest of the food on table and a lot of fun talks and get-to-know each other session. Post which we ha d a quick talk on the sexual harassment policy which is important to know that we are treated equally in the workplace and we feel safe and respected.
We all moved to terrace by early evening and there we had a special Zumba session which awaited us.
This was an ice breaker for people who had never go their foot on dance floor. It was fun, tiring and energy filled. The place was decorated with pink balloons all over. And by evening, when all the women were already feeling incredibly special, our HR team popped up yet another set of surprise. We were all gifted a beautifully packed organic and totally herbal beauty kits in a eco-friendly jute bags.
Our day was really made! We felt proud to be a woman and motivated to do our best for the coming days and months. I think we really owe it to the management for being always so zealous, our management team for being a bundle of energy, us for being such fantastic individuals, and our male colleagues too for being sporting and encouraging throughout the day.
A photo session followed where all the beauties of WeP posed and pouted and flashed their incredible smiles
To conclude, by honoring yourself and treating yourself with respect, you set the stage up for others to treat you with respect. Developing great self-esteem, believing in oneself, having a never-say-die attitude and most importantly by supporting other women, women set the sails towards women empowerment.

Scan to folder - RICOH MFP Feature

Ricoh’s multifunction products (MFPs) allow users to send scanned documents to shared folders on various networks. Compatible MFPs support these three methods of Scan to folder: Scan to SMB (for Windows environments) Scan to NCP (for Novell NetWare environments) Scan to FTP (for environments with mixed operating systems). Many Ricoh MFPs also allow users to combine Scan to folder and Scan to email destinations in the same job.    Enlarging and reducing scans MFPs with a GWNX controller allow users to enlarge or reduce the size of their scan to a different supported paper size automatically, for example, an A5 size document can be scanned to A4 size.  Supported file types Scan to folder supports single-page TIFF, JPEG, PDF, PDF/A, and high compression PDFs, as well as multi page TIFF, PDF, PDF/As, and high compression PDF file formats. Users can also add a digital signature using the Scan to Digitally Signed PDF feature. Homefolder over LDAP support Supported by Ricoh MFPs...

User authentication - RICOH

User authentication is a process for authorised users to validate that they are who they say they are, by some pre-arranged criteria. Typically, user authentication is required to allow access to electronic devices, networks, or services. A common user authentication process is accessing bank accounts at an automatic teller machine (ATM). This requires us to enter a bank-issued security card, followed by a personal identification number (PIN) at the keypad. Because user authentication is a part of daily life, the requirement for user authentication to access office automation equipment at work is a standard expectation. User authentication methods Supported Ricoh multifunction products (MFPs) provide four methods to control user access: Windows authentication LDAP authentication Basic authentication User codes.   Windows authentication Users are required to log on to the device using their existing Windows network username and password. Only users with a valid username and password...
